DELEGATION FROM INDIA
The Dimesse nuns have arrived in Kerala, state in southwestern India, in June of 1984.
They are now present in four communities: Mavoor, Ball body, Kappenkolly e Pallom.
From the 2006 the Dimesse are also present in the state of Tamil Nadu, ad est of Kerala, with two communities: S. Pudur and Shivapuram.

Offer ourselves as humble and joyful apostles of the truth in love, under the protection of the Immaculate Virgin Mary.
• Mavoor (Calicut). The first mission in India came up in Mavoor, a 20 km away from Calicut, capital of the district. The nuns tried to respond immediately to the urgent and sad situation they found. Collaborating with the parish priest, they started some activities, which still continue: catechism teaching, apostolate with young people and families, promotion of women, starting a nursery school, (over time, primary and middle schools were added).
• Discovery. In 1991 the Dimesse nuns arrived in Pallikkara, a fishing village. They immediately began visiting families, to promote meetings with young people and to start a nursery school. School today, recognized by the state, welcomes further 600 students, from nursery to high school.
In addition to work in school, the nuns continue to operate in the pastoral activities of the parish with the teaching of catechism, the apostolate among young people and in families, and social work under the guidance of Kannur diocese.
. Wayanad. In 2003 a community was opened in Wayanad district, a Kappamkolly. The nuns dedicate themselves: to the youth apostolate, to nursery school children, to teaching catechism and social work. Subsequently, a training house for postulants and novices was opened.
Trivandrum. The latest community in Kerala opened in 2013 from Pallas, near the capital Trivandrum, in one of the most densely populated areas of Asia, along the coast of the Arabian Sea. The men here are engaged in fishing and the women in the fish trade.
The nuns are involved in all the activities of the parish: animation of family units and young people, teaching of catechism and in parish kindergarten.
For two years, under the name of Mary Immaculate (Amalobhava Matha), lay fraternity exists, that meets every month to read, meditate, share and commit to living the Gospel.
